Our Story And Values
Barracks to Beds in Mount Holly, North Carolina, is a residential care facility providing structured, sober independent living for veterans and adults in transition. Founded in June 2026 by people who have faced homelessness and instability, our mission is simple, offer a safe, fully furnished, substance-free home where residents can rebuild with dignity, support, and clear structure.
Grounded In Community Care
As a family-owned, Black-owned, female-owned organization, we combine lived experience with best practices and affiliations, including the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness, and NARR.
